STUDENT INFORMATIONFORWARDING PROCEDURESMail is forwarded for a period not to exceed one year to the students's "Home of Record' address, unless otherwise notified. This includes student withdraw, graduation in May or December, and/or if a student participates in an exchange program or transfers to another college at Rutgers. Please notify the Registrar's Office of any permanent address changes, as well as notifying your Campus Post Office whether this change is temporary or permanent. It is the student's responsibility to inform any business or personal mailers of their new address within a 90 day period after the student has moved off campus or left the universty. SUMMER SESSION Each year at the beginning of April, your Campus Post Office displays a letter and signup list informing students that they must sign the list if they would like their mail to remain at the University during the summer months. If the student does not complete the signup list, his/her mail will be forwarded to the address that the University has on record for him/her. Magazines and bulk mailings are not forwarded. If the student wants to continue receiving magazines during the summer he/she must temporarily change their address with their perspective publisher(s). Due to fire hazards and other safety considerations, Campus Post Offices will NOT hold these items for you over the summer. | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
